Record before you interpret

Begin with the date, what happened, what you felt, and what you did. Then add the transit, card, or chart theme you were considering. This order reduces the temptation to reshape an event until it matches a prediction.

Use neutral language. “I postponed the conversation because I felt unprepared” is more useful than “Mercury made communication impossible.”

Use a repeatable four-line format

Try four lines: what I notice; the symbolic lens; another possible explanation; one action I choose. The third line matters because it keeps curiosity wider than a single framework.

You do not need to write every day. A few honest entries are more informative than a streak filled with hurried summaries.

Add a sense of scale: is this a single moment, a repeating pattern, or simply the mood of this hour? That note helps prevent a brief experience from becoming a permanent identity claim. If the context changes later, add a follow-up instead of rewriting the original entry.

Review without confirmation bias

At the end of a week, mark both matches and non-matches. Look for practical patterns such as sleep, workload, conflict style, or social context. Do not count only the entries that fit the astrology language.

Keep sensitive writing private by default. Before syncing or pasting a journal entry into AI, consider whether the added convenience is worth sharing that text with another service.
